By entering, you are acknowledging your agreement to be bound by these terms.

No purchase is necessary to enter this competition to those who meet the Eligibility Requirements.

Create an instax™ photo using a screenshot taken in FINAL FANTASY XIV.

To enter please post instax™ photo using your screenshot on X with the specified hashtag #FFXIV_instax_2026 and mention the official instax™ campaign account (@instax_campaign).

This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of any winners. Judges will individually assess each entry received during the Competition Period (as set out below) based on artistic and creative merit and originality. The best fourteen (14) entries will be selected for “The XIV Selection”. The selected entries may be featured on the official instax™ campaign X account (@instax_campaign), the official instax™ website, and the campaign’s official promotional video.

*Entries not selected for “The XIV Selection” may also be displayed at various events and photography exhibitions organized or featured by the Company and its local subsidiaries and be used in various advertisements and promotional materials produced by the Company and its local subsidiaries.

[Eligibility Requirements]

・Those who agree to these terms
*Minors are not allowed to participate. Also members of the immediate families or households of persons [in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland] who are either (i) employees of the Company or its holding or subsidiary companies; or (ii) who are employees of agents or suppliers of the Company or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration, are not eligible to participate.
・Those who can play “FINAL FANTASY XIV” with their own Square Enix account
・Those who have their own X account and have it set to public

[How to Enter]

(1) Take screenshots in FINAL FANTASY XIV.
(2) Log in to your X account and navigate to the dedicated page via the applicable post on the official instax™ Campaign X account (@instax_campaign).
(3) Select your country of residence.
(4) Create an instax™ photo using a screenshot taken in FINAL FANTASY XIV.
(5) Post an image of your completed instax™ photo to X with the designated hashtag “#FFXIV_instax_2026” and the “official campaign X of instax™ (@instax_campaign)” as a mention and with the comment writing the title of your instax™ photo .

*In this competition, only posts made during the Competition period using the above method (hereinafter referred to as “application posts”) will be eligible for selection for “The XIV Selection”.
*Application posts without the designated hashtag or where the hashtag does not match the designated hashtag exactly will be excluded from the competition due to the application system specifications. Please note that # must be half-width.
*When entering hashtags, please note the following:
1) If a hashtag is in the middle of text, put spaces before and after the hashtag.
2) If a hashtag is at the beginning of text, put a space after the hashtag.
3) If a hashtag is at the end of text, put a space before the hashtag.
4) When entering two or more hashtags, put a space between hashtags.
5) Do not put a space after “#”.

*If necessary spaces are missing or unnecessary spaces are present, the application system may not recognize the hashtag and your entry will be excluded from the competition. Please be aware of this in advance.
*Please check X rules yourself regarding other matters.

《Notes on Competition》

*Competition entries from private accounts or accounts excluded from X search will not be eligible for selection
*While you may post competition entries as many times as you like during the Competition Period, please refrain from repeatedly posting the same image. Posting exactly the same or nearly identical content violates X rules and may be automatically excluded from X search. Please post at your own responsibility after checking X rules.
*The Company will verify whether competition entries comply with these terms. If an entry is determined by the Company in its sole discretion not to comply with these terms, the entry will be invalidated.
*If a violation of the X rules is identified, the relevant entry may be disqualified and become ineligible for Selection.
*By posting an application post with the designated hashtag “#FFXIV_instax_2026”, you acknowledge and agree that the Company may use your competition entry in various advertisements and promotional materials regardless of whether you are selected for “The XIV Selection”. If you do not agree to your application post being used by the Company, please refrain from posting using the campaign hashtag or submitting an entry into the competition.
*Communication fees etc. associated with competition entries and inquiries will be borne by the entrant.
*Entries cannot be made from feature phones.

《Notes for Creating an instax™ photo》

*Your instax™ photo, must be:
(i) created using a screenshot taken by you during your own gameplay of FINAL FANTASY XIV; and
(ii) unpublished and must not have been submitted to any other campaign, competition or contest, including in the past.
If any third party files a claim regarding infringement of rights or any other complaint related to an instax™ photo, the Company reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke its selection for “The XIV Selection” and discontinue any exhibition, publication, use, or other display of such instax™ photo.
*You may submit multiple works; however, only one instax™ photo image may be included per application post. Please refrain from attaching multiple images to a single post.

《Selection and Announcement of “The XIV Selection”》

・From the entries submitted during the Competition Period, the judges will select the best 14 works based on artistic and creative merit and originality. These will be “The XIV Selection”. “The XIV Selection” may be featured together with their titles on the official instax™ campaign X account (@instax_campaign) and the official instax™ website, and may also be used in the campaign’s official promotional video.
・The announcement is scheduled for Friday, October 30th, 2026.

*Please do not delete your X account or set it to private before Friday, October 30th, 2026.

[Notes]

*The Company may change, suspend, terminate, or end this competition at its discretion due to the reasons stated in the Disclaimer (1) to (4) of these terms below.
*The Company may change these terms by announcing the content of changes and their effective date in advance through the internet or other appropriate methods in the following cases:
- When the change to the terms aligns with the general interests of applicants
- When the change to the terms does not contradict the purpose of the previous terms, and is reasonable in light of the necessity of change, appropriateness of changed content, and other circumstances related to the change
*Matters not specified in these terms will be decided at the Company’s discretion subject to the above.
*Applicants shall follow the administration office’s operational policies regarding competition operation and shall not raise any objections.
*If the competition administration office determines there has been misconduct, the entry will be invalidated.
*This competition is not provided or sponsored by X.
*In addition to these terms, X rules apply to competition entries.
*If there is improper usage that violates the competition terms of use or X rules (fictitious accounts, impersonation of others, holding multiple accounts, etc.), the competition administration office may invalidate the relevant entry without notice.
*X rules contain important provisions such as “users who create many accounts to repeatedly enter campaigns will have all their accounts suspended.” Please check carefully in advance and post at your own responsibility. The Company bears no responsibility if penalties are imposed as a result of application posts.
*If you delete hashtags from competition entries after applying, your entry may be invalidated.
*If you delete application posts after applying, your entry may be invalidated.
*Entries made using accounts that are changed to private settings after applying may be invalidated.
*Entries made using accounts that are deleted after applying will be invalidated.
*Entries cannot be cancelled.
*We cannot answer inquiries about internet connection, X usage methods, etc. that are prerequisites for competition entry. Please prepare these at your own responsibility and expense.
*Selection status for “The XIV Selection” cannot be transferred to any third party. (the competition administration office cannot accept changes to the selected person’s name). Additionally, prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
*The copyright of comments in “competition entries” belongs to the entrant, and the copyright of FINAL FANTASY XIV screenshots used in instax™ photo and FINAL FANTASY XIV characters, other illustrations and designs included in the instax™ print frames belongs to Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd. However, the Company may freely use the comments and instax™ photo in “posted content” (hereafter “posted content”) (including but not limited to reproduction, modification, adaptation, public transmission, and necessary processing) without obtaining individual consent from entrants and without compensation for an unlimited period, and may allow third parties to use them in the same way. Furthermore, entrants agree to not exercise their moral rights as authors regarding the posted content against the Company and third parties to whom the Company has granted permission to use the posted content. Note that the Company is not obligated to display the user account name used by the entrant for posting when using the posted content.
*Entrants guarantee to the Company that the “posted content” in “competition entries” does not infringe on third party rights.
*If disputes arise between entrants and third parties regarding competition entries entrants shall resolve such disputes at their own responsibility and expense and shall not cause any damage to the Company. If any damage is caused to the Company, the Company may claim compensation from the relevant entrant.
*All intellectual property rights such as copyrights, trademark rights, design rights, etc. related to all photographs, company logos, images, videos, text, music, and other content posted on this campaign site belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders who have granted usage permission to the Company. Regarding the use of content, etc. on this site, all acts including reproduction, diversion, redistribution, electromagnetic processing, transmission, distribution, transfer, lending, secondary use, and other similar acts are strictly prohibited unless permitted by the Company.
*You may not be able to enter depending on your internet usage environment such as your device, OS, browser, etc.
*Application posts made during the Competition Period using the competition-specified method will be considered as expressions of intent to submit an entry for this competition.

[Prohibited Acts]

The Company may at any time, verify the validity of entries and invalidate the entry of any person the Company determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, to have engaged in the following acts as these are prohibited when submitting an entry for this competition:
(1) Acts that violate these terms
(2) Acts that violate laws/ordinances, acts contrary to public order and morality, or acts that may lead to such violations
(3) Criminal acts or acts connected to fraudulent activities
(4) Acts that violate X rules
(5) Acts that infringe or may infringe on the Company’s/others’ copyrights or other intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or other rights or interests
(6) Acts that damage the Company’s/others’ honor/credit or destroy trust
(7) Acts that cause disadvantage or damage to the Company/others
(8) Acts that defame the Company/others
(9) Acts that disclose others’ personal information
(10) Acts of impersonation such as using others’ names or other organization names such as companies
(11) Commercial activities, profit-seeking activities, or activities in preparation for such activities using this competition
(12) Political activities, election activities, religious activities using this competition
(13) Acts that interfere with competition operation
(14) Other acts that the Company judges inappropriate in light of the intent of the competition

[Disclaimer]

・Competition entries shall be made based on entrants’ own judgment and responsibility, and the Company shall not be responsible for any damage incurred by entrants when entering, to the fullest extent permitted by law, except for damage caused by the Company’s intentional misconduct or negligence. Additionally, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company, even in cases where the Company bears liability for damages under law, the Company’s compensation obligation shall be limited to direct, ordinary, and actual damage or any extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these competition terms limits, or purports to limit, any statutory guarantees expressed or implied by any applicable consumer protection legislation.

・The Company shall not be responsible for any damage caused by changing, interrupting, suspending, or ending all or part of this competition due to the following reasons:
(1) When maintenance occurs or defects arise in services provided by X
(2) When emergencies occur such as fire, power outage, or deterioration of communication environment
(3) Due to natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, tsunamis, spread of infectious diseases, riots, labor disputes, government office orders, etc.
(4) Other cases where the Company determines it is difficult to hold or continue the competition
